- Synopsis
- This is a labelled graph showing how the amount of carbon dioxide in the earth's atmosphere has changed over the last 500 million years. There is a locator dot shown, which will be at the top left of the page when the image is the correct way up. The Y-axis goes vertically up the left hand side of the page. It shows the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, with the lowest at the bottom of the axis and the highest at the top. The X-axis goes horizontally across the bottom of the page and is labelled and marked for every 100 million years starting with 500 million years ago near the origin in the bottom left of the graph.
