- Synopsis
- This page shows a map of Britain with a small key. There is a locator dot shown, which will be at the top left, when the image is the correct way up. There is an image border surrounding the image. The sea is shown as a textured area (blue on large print image) surrounding the land. There is a key in the top right of the page. There are five iron and steel areas each indicated by a large dot. They are in the middle of the country, the north and Scotland. There are many coalfield areas shown by a fine texture (light grey on large print image). There are four iron centres in the middle of the country.
