- Synopsis
- The majestic gardens of a big country house provide the backdrop for this enchanting Time to Sleep Story written especially to help your child drop off to sleep at bedtime. The story gives your child's imagination a wonderful setting to explore as they discover the many paths that wind through the landscaped gardens. The gardens are tended by the old gardener, Mr Hedges, who has a squeaky wheelbarrow and is suffering from a bad back. This means he can't sweep up the autumn leaves that have fallen onto his lawns. The garden creatures, led by Mr Snuffly the hedgehog and his friends, secretly clear up the leaves during the night to thank Mr Hedges for looking after the gardens so well. This moonlight adventure leaves you lovely and sleepy and you just have time to see Mr Hedges's surprised reaction when he checks on his garden the next morning before dropping off to sleep...
