Synopsis: Developments in recent decades have led to money and finance assuming unprecedented influence over almost every aspect of economic and social life. Making the case for a geography of money, this multidisciplinary Handbook argues it is necessary to think spatially about the constitution and expressions of money and financial systems in the wake of the 2007–2008 Global Financial Crisis.
