- Synopsis
- Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht in Form einer detaillierten Einzelanalyse die Struktur der Kommunikations- und Arbeitsabläufe in einem vernetzten Unternehmen. Die Autorin stellt zum einen die charakteristischen Merkmale einer solchen Arbeitsorganisation vor, zum anderen beleuchtet sie das Zusammenspiel der verschiedenen Kommunikationsmedien und -formen im Arbeitsalltag der Beschäftigten. Dabei werden auch die Praktiken, mittels derer die "Vernetzung" erfolgt, sorgfältig beschrieben, und es wird verdeutlicht, welche große Bedeutung gerade informelle Kommunikationsweisen für die Gruppenidentität und -loyalität der entfernt voneinander Arbeitenden haben. Sowohl im schwer zugänglichen Untersuchungsgegenstand als auch im erhobenen Datenmaterial und den angewandten Forschungsmethoden (Ethnographie und ethnomethodologische Konversationsanalyse) liegt die besondere Qualität der empirischen Studie.
