Synopsis: This edited volume brings together leading scholars in diverse disciplines to share their best thinking on how creativity can be conceived of, taught for, and deployed to serve rather than undermine humanity. Transformational creativity, as defined in this book, is creativity deployed to make a positive, meaningful, and potentially enduring difference to the world. Transformational creativity is compared to transactional creativity, which is creativity deployed in search of a reward, whether externally or internally generated.
